"Precious Paw"

April 23, 2007 a tiny schnauzer was born and the breeder was going to put her down because she needed to be bottle fed and they just didn't want to do it. So I rescued her and I named this precious tiny little girl Sara Hope. She became part of our family. She helped me through some things going on in my life at the time.

When she turned two, a friend pleaded with me to breed her just one time. With a lot of reluctance I finally gave in. Sara gave birth to two girls and four boys. We kept the two girls and the boys went to friends.

One of the girls was snow white and she had problems coming into this world. I stayed with Sara through all the births. I helped this little snowball breathe. I know time was limited to get her to take a breath, so I took this tiny thing between my hands and rocked her back and forth until she took that breath. I placed her on a heating pad because she felt so cold to me. As time went on I named her Samatha Nicole Bella. I fell in love with all the babies.

Samatha was my baby and she was loved and cared for just like Sara. Unfortunately, January 13, 2017 Sara Hope passed away and our hearts were broken and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her.

I thank Jenkins Funeral Home for taking care of Sara. They were very helpful and comforting to me.

Now fast forward to October 13, 2019, my precious Sami (Samatha) has passed and Jenkins Funeral Home is there for me once again. At this moment my heart is coming apart; I've lost her mother and now her. This is going to take time to get past.

These precious paws are my fur babies-now and forever.

Sara and Sami will be put together in a Teddy Bear jar.

To my girls-mommy will always love you.
