It is with a sad and heavy heart, Marley, our beloved little man, went to Heaven on February 5th, 2024. He was a couple weeks shy of 15 years old. Marley was battling a tumor on his hip that was crippling him and kept growing.. Along with arthritis, benign cysts over his body, cataracts, dementia and old age, Marley was strong to the very end. When we realized there was nothing more we could do, we put Marley's best Interest first, and decided to put him to rest this past Monday. This is the most difficult experience to go through and we are hurting immensely.
Putting down your own loved one is difficult to watch and even more painful to leave behind knowing it is the end and the last goodbye for our precious member of our family, Marley, who loved us so much and was always by our side, no matter what. Marley was a major part of our family and now there's a missing piece of our family puzzle. We realize Marley is no longer suffering and that he is in the hands of Saint Francis, along with Jesus and other animals.
My dearest Marley,
You have left your paw prints on our hearts and our lives will never be the same. You understood each and every one of us and our needs, always with your natural intuition and caring heart. You were like our guardian angel in the flesh, quick to protect, defend and guide.
Your big heart taught us about unconditional love, the virtue of patience and peace, never leave anyone behind and at the end of the day, your presence was always a happy occasion, greeting us home with your smile and tail wagging swiftly. You were more than just a dog. You were part of our family. You understood three languages and communicated in your own way. You had a gift of recognizing how to be gentle with small children and never hesitated to show your teeth towards danger. You became Kujo to protect your family. You were never a dog person. Only a people person. You were so strong and brave! We will always remember you climbing up trees after squirrels and chasing anything or anyone that ventured in our yard. You loved to jump up and catch the leaves or snowballs while doing your 180 flips!! It was a show!!
You enjoyed sleeping on our bed right up until you couldn't jump up anymore. You became the best at stealing food off the table, the counter or right out of my childs hand, you were the original Napolitano thief! You have left us with so many good memories, almost 15 years worth, that our healing process will be long and difficult.
There was only one Marley Kins in the whole world and we are grateful to have had you in our lives. Thank you for everything!💞
Rest in Peace, Our good and faithful friend.
God's Blessings,
We love you. Forever in our hearts💞
