Lady “Bug” Mirtsching

On January 13, 2023, Lady aka Baby “Bug” Mirtsching crossed The Rainbow Bridge peacefully in the
loving arms of her Mom and Dad, under the care of Vale Veterinary Hospital. Bug was born Nov 2008
and passed at the age of 14. She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Precious, Brandy, and
Tisha, and two cousins Mack and Macee. Left to cherish her memory is her cousin Drew who she loved
showing how to be and act like a dog after being rescued several years ago.
Bug loved playing with her toys. She was most excited to open her Christmas presents this past year.
She would carefully choose a toy out of her collection to bring to anyone who would play fetch with her.
Sometimes she just wanted to show her toys off. Every morning she would excitedly go with her Dad to
feed the horses and chickens, making sure everything was in its place as it should be. In the evenings,
Bug would cuddle with her Mommy making sure she was ok from her day at work. She never went to
bed without getting her nighttime treats, and letting her Mommy know it was time to go to bed.
During the summer she enjoyed helping her parents in the garden and going camping at Wilson’s Creek.
She enjoyed splashing and running in the water. While she greeted everyone who came to the front
door with her ferocious bark, she would quickly realize they were friendly and accepted love from them.
Bug was a constant companion and Best Friend to her Mommy, Penny. Bug knew her Mommy has some
health issues and made sure to snuggle her extra after every treatment. She never left her Mommy’s
side, sometimes escorting her to the bathroom.
We love you Bug! You will always hold a special place in Mommy and Daddy’s hearts until we meet
again.
