Jasper Trimble, RIP October 30, 2023
Our beloved Jasper left us far too soon after enduring a hard-fought battle with Lymphoma. He touched
the lives of everyone he met and was absolutely the sweetest soul around. He has left an immeasurable
void in the hearts of his family and friends, and his little brother Frankie will forever miss his best buddy.
Jasper had so many heartfelt nicknames that he loved to hear. His 2 nd mom and pet sitter Pat quickly
gave him the name “Jas” soon after he was adopted, which made him smile every time he heard it and
her voice. His adoptive mom Tracey couldn’t have been luckier to rescue such a wonderful boy that was
full of life and love who completely filled her heart with so much love and joy over the last 6 years. He
knew when he was called “Jazzy Ju” that he was getting ready to play catch with his ball, which was his
absolute favorite thing to do, thanks to Joe and Stacey Elegado, who were his foster parents when he
first came into rescue. Joe played catch with him every single day. You could place 100 different toys
and treats in front of him, and he would select his squeeky ball every single time. His mom’s favorite
term of endearment was “Booba” and when she went to snuggle with him on his “lounge”, she would
always whisper in his year “You’re my big, sweet gorgeous boy and you know how much I love you,
right?” Jasper was a rescue from Great Dane Friends of Ruff Love (www.greatdanefriends.com). They
are a phenomenal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of special needs Danes and believe
in fostering all their rescued Danes, so they are socialized and learn basic manners while the rescue gets
to know their personalities after integrating them into their own families. This allows the best possible
transition for the Dane and the adopter to ensure a successful forever home. Please reach out to them
