Gracie Greene

It is with great sorrow that I said "See you at the bridge" to my beautiful BFF, Gracie. She fought Cancer for 4 years with as much grace and dignity as any human could have. She was simply a survivor. Even at the end, she tried so hard not to cause her mom any worry!
She was my best friend and companion for 14 years. I fell in love immediately, as I gazed at her four month old self, with pleading eyes, in the kennel, as she waited for just the right person to rescue her.....That was me! She was my "Hell on wheels, ride or die", girl from then on.
So, Gracie....you keep the piece of my heart, that only you can fill; and, I will see you at the bridge! I love you, Mama!
