Church Boy Surratt

Church Boy Magnifiscent Surratt was born on May 24, 2010 in Spruce Pine, NC. From the moment his Mammy and Pappy laid eyes on him they knew he was theirs. Church spent many of his younger years with his big brother Splash (Great Dane). The two of them were great friends and Church always felt as big as a Great Dane, although he was a mere 22lbs. In his senior years, Church has had his sister Ophelia (American bulldog) to watch out for him and lead him when his sight and hearing began to fail. Church was independent, tough as nails and sweet as honey. He provided his family with 14 wonderful years of companionship. He’s been on many trips to the beach and loves to sit and watch the waves and smell the salt air. Some of the nicknames he earned through the years were Pootsie, Peepot, Bubba, Bop bop, and Churchy. He could ‘tell it” very well, and could jump super high. His favorite past times were chasing balls, sucking his favorite stuffy or tummy time with Mammy. There will never be another good boy like him. His family will miss him forever. ❤️
